Are stores hiring for Christmas?
The unemployment rate for Champaign County was 8.5 percent in October, up from the county's 2008 average of 5.9 percent. Statewide, October's unemployment rate was 10.5 percent, up from its 2008 average of 6.5 percent.
In the past, unemployed people have found temporary work at stores at Christmas time. Are people in Champaign County finding seasonal work this year? Please share your thoughts.
