A new trial date has been scheduled in the Champaign County Health Department's case against the owners of Cherry Orchard apartments.
The father-son landlord team, Eduardo and Bernard Ramos, are now scheduled to stand a bench trial April 6.
The Champaign County Public Health Department filed a case against the two last year for failing to legally repair and connect a sewer septic system at the Cherry Orchard apartment complex.
Below is a map that shows the flow of sewage that has health officials so concerned.
