What's in a name: The most common words in local human service programs

There are some 520 human services programs and organizations in Champaign County listed in this online human services directory - First Call for Help: Helpbook Online

We wanted to see what the most commonly used words were among the names of these organizations and programs.

Using Wordle.net, we created the word cloud below - which counts the number of times each word is used in the list of programs.

The more often a word appears in a name, the larger the word appears in the word cloud below. Wordle.net removes common words, such as "the", "and" , and "of" .

The word "center" topped the list at 60 occurrences. The words "program" , "Champaign" and "services" all occured more than 45 times.
